Miss Mavridou is a highly experienced consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist based at the Women's Wellness Centre. She is also the lead clinician for Fertility Services at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.Her areas of speciality are as follows:Minimal access surgeryOutpatient hysteroscopyUterine anomalies and fibroid resectionsFertility treatmentAbnormal uterine bleedingEndometriosisAdenomyosisPolycystic ovarian syndromeAssessment of ovarian reserveFertility preservationRecurrent miscarriagesShe trained at St Andrews University, Scotland and Victoria University Medical School in Manchester. She then went on to train in the United States as a research fellow in the development of group B streptococcus Vaccine at Harvard University.Following this, she completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology residency in St Louis, Missouri before returning to the UK. She also teaches medical students in the area of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Science.Her work on ‘management of multiple gestation' has been published in ‘Requisites in Obstetrics and Gynaecology- High-Risk Obstetrics' by Elsevier.
