Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Mr Erritty is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist specialising in severe endometriosis and other complex benign gynaecology. He is the clinical lead for the Endometriosis Centre CEMIG at Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust which is one of the UKs largest and most respected BSGE accredited Endometriosis Centres. He is an accredited BSGE Endometriosis surgeon. Mr Erritty is highly trained in advanced hysteroscopy, laparosocpy and robotic routes for surgery. Mr Erritty is a full time NHS Consultant specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology whose NHS appointment is with Ashford and St Peters NHS Foundation Trust. In addition to his clinical work at CEMIG, he held the Clinical Lead role for the department between 2021 - 2025. He is the current Clinical Governance lead. He is also lead for Surgical Site Infections. Mr Erritty sees private patients primarily at Woking Nuffield and Circle Health Runnymede. Mr Erritty graduated in 2007 from the University of Bristol and has worked across London and the South East including time spent overseas in New Zealand. Mr Erritty is well regarded in the specialty and regularly contributes to National and International meetings such as the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and the European Society of Gynaecoloigcal Endoscopy. He has been commended for recent work in reducing the impact of surgical site infections in Obstetrics and caesarean section and has published the impact of these improvements in academic journals. Mr Erritty has a long standing interest in minimal access surgery and was the first Gynaecology trainee to receive the accreditation for Advanced Laparoscopy through the RCOG Advanced Training Skills Module in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region. He was appointed as Consultant with a specialist interest in Endometriosis and now is director for the service at ASPH and regularly performs surgeries for the excision of Endometriosis and other advanced minimal access surgeries such as laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy and hysteroscopic resection of fibroids.
