Mr George Araklitis is a well experienced Consultant Gynaecologist Urogynaecologist recognised by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He currently sees private patients at The Blackheath Hospital. Mr Araklitis completed his medical degree at the University of London in 2008 followed by his training at hospitals in London, Kent and Norwich and his specialist urogynaecology training under the mentorship of Professor Linda Cardozo OBE. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons.Mr Araklitis specialises in the treatment of bladder-related issues, such as urinary incontinence and recurrent urinary tract infections. He also provides care for women dealing with vaginal prolapse and assists new mothers facing pelvic floor challenges after childbirth. He works closely with women's health physiotherapists who specialise in pelvic floor rehabilitation and bladder retraining, providing comprehensive healthcare.Mr Araklitis is accredited in performing urodynamics and is among the few urogynaecologists in his region with expertise in using laparoscopic surgery to manage specific prolapse and incontinence conditions.His patient-centred philosophy emphasises empowering women through open discussions about all available treatment options, both surgical and non-surgical. Taking into account each woman's unique preferences and needs, Mr Araklitis delivers tailored, individualised care guided by his wealth of experience.Outside of his clinical practice, Mr Araklitis holds professional memberships with the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG), European Urogynaecological Association (EUGA), International Urogynaecology Association (IUGA), and Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG).Mr Araklitis has published extensively and presented his research at numerous regional, national, and international conferences.
