Dr Gaity Ahmad is a Consultant Gynecologist and Obstetrician with a special interest in pelvic pain and endometriosis. Because of her extensive experience in general gynaecology and further specialist training in minimal access surgery, Dr Ahmad is able to offer laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures for a wide range of benign gynaecological conditions.Beyond surgical work, Dr Ahmad is a proponent for the importance of research and has more than 30 peer reviewed publications, including a written chapter in a book.On account of both her experience and highly respected profile, she was invited by the Scientific Advisory committee of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to write an evidence-based article on "The use of Adhesion Prevention Agents in Obstetrics and Gynaecology".
