Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Miss Aslı Üçyiğit is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She completed her MBBS from Imperial College London in 2008. She has been a high acheiver throughout her career, including from the beginning and during her medical studies, she was awarded a national research prize by the charity ‘CORE’, for her original research project undertaken in Uganda. Following her undergraduate medical training, Miss Üçyiğit completed her specialist training at St Thomas’ Hospitals and King’s College Hospital Trust, and during her final year of studies was awarded the ‘Pan-London Obstetrics & Gynaecology Prize’ for her research work into the management of hyperemesis gravidarum.Miss Üçyiğit specialises in the diagnosis and management of early pregnancy conditions and all areas of outpatient gynaecology. She has a particular interest in pelvic pain (endometriosis and adenomyosis), ovarian cyst management, menstrual disorders, pelvic inflammatory disease, and minor gynaecological procedures. Miss Üçyiğit also undertook a two-year research fellowship at King’s College Hospital where she focussed on early pregnancy and gynaecology ultrasound, adding to her broad knowledge base and skillset. Miss Üçyiğit is active in research and has authored several academic research articles and book chapters. She has been invited to present her work on the postpartum ultrasound scan at international level.Miss Üçyiğit is a member of a number of organisations including BSSCP/RCOG (British Society of Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology/Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology). She is an accredited colposcopist and colposcopy trainer, performing outpatient diagnostic and treatment procedures. Miss Üçyiğit is an accomplished doctor with a kind and gentle approach to her patients. She is well known for her skill and bedside manner among colleagues and patients.
