Mr Richard Sheridan is a Consultant Gynaecologist from London, UK.Mr Sheridan qualified from Guy's Hospital Medical School in 1979. He then went on to train in Southampton, at Queen Charlotte's Maternity Hospital and then as a registrar and senior registrar at Guy's and at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington. In 2015 Mr Sheridan left Watford General Hospital after spending 24 years there as a Consultant and is an examiner for the final membership examination of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.Mr Sheridan has a busy private menopause and gynaecological practice. His private office and secretary are based at Spire Bushey Hospital, where gynaecological in-patients are admitted and gynaecological outpatient appointments and early pregnancy scanning take place. He also has a menopause & gynae clinic at Centennial Medical Care in Elstree in Hertfordshire which is approved and registered by the Care Quality Commission. He is a general gynaecologist, doubly qualified, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists of London. He performs open abdominal surgery, vaginal surgery and keyhole surgery for heavy periods, fibroids, cysts, prolapse and incontinence.
