Dr Ashoor's journey in obstetrics and gynaecology began at Kings College University, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Guys Kings and St Thomas' Medical School in 2006. She continued her academic pursuits, obtaining a Doctoral Degree in Maternal and Fetal Medicine from Kings College University in 2013. She has authored over 25 publications demonstrating her dedication to advancing the care provided to patients. She was the President of the Healthcare Policy Centre at King's College University Think Tank. Currently, Miss Ashoor holds several roles. She serves as a Consultant Obstetrician and Sub-specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KCH), where she provides comprehensive care for women with high-risk pregnancies. In addition, she is a key Fetal Medicine Specialist, instrumental in developing the Fetal Medicine Service at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. In her current role at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Dr Ashoor serves as a Consultant Obstetrician and Sub-specialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine, and Preterm Lead. She provides comprehensive care to pregnant women with high-risk pregnancies and has a specialist interest in ultrasound scanning, prenatal diagnosis, and comprehensive fetal brain scanning, providing meticulous counselling to her patients.
