About Mr

Mr Ayman Abdelkader is a Consultant Gynaecologist with extensive experience in benign gynaecology, pelvic pain and endometriosis. He currently practises at Homerton University Hospital, where he works within the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE)–accredited endometriosis centre. His clinical practice focuses on the management of pelvic pain and endometriosis across different life stages, including fertility-preserving surgery and the care of women with deep endometriosis during pregnancy.Mr Abdelkader graduated in medicine from Ain Shams University in 2004 and completed specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Ain Shams University Hospital, a tertiary referral centre. He was awarded an MD in 2013 and subsequently worked as a consultant and clinical lecturer before joining the NHS in 2016. He obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2018.He has completed RCOG advanced training in benign gynaecology and outpatient hysteroscopy, followed by two years of fellowship training in endometriosis and advanced laparoscopy. Mr Abdelkader is certified as a minimally invasive gynaecologist by the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and is a regular faculty member and examiner for GESEA courses delivered through the BSGE.His practice includes weekly endometriosis, benign gynaecology and outpatient hysteroscopy clinics, alongside regular operating lists. He undertakes a wide range of open and laparoscopic procedures, including hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, excision and ablation of endometriosis, and diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy.
