Dr Shanbhag graduated from Goa University in 1995 and completed postgraduate studies in Gynaecology, focusing her thesis on ultrasound evaluation of pelvic masses. Her specialist training began in Aberdeen, Scotland, and concluded at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, where she achieved certification in both Gynaecology and sub-specialist Gynaecological Oncology. She previously served as a consultant in Glasgow for nine years before relocating to the West Midlands. Her clinical expertise covers a wide spectrum of advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, including both benign gynaecological procedures and complex cancer surgery.
