Consultant Gynaecologist, Dr Shilpa Deb, is experienced in a number of areas including minimal access surgery, early pregnancy problems, menstrual disorders, cervical abnormalities, ovarian cysts and colposcopy. She gained her medical qualification in 1995 in India before training extensively in Gynaecology, with a focus on minimal access surgery and reproductive medicine.After completing her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in November 2007, Dr Deb went on to undertake a higher research degree at the University of Nottingham where she evaluated the effects of ovarian cystectomy on ovarian reserve. She has been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in her current post since 2010.
