Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Dr. Sarah Saqib is a highly regarded Consultant Gynaecologist based in Calderdale and Huddersfield, specialising in general gynaecology, menstrual disorders, menopause, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroid management, pelvic pain, and ovarian cysts. She holds a consultant role with Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and also practises privately at Huddersfield Hospital.Dr. Saqib completed her medical degree in India, followed by obtaining her MRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London. She also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Diagnostic Imaging from the University of Leeds. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Saqib serves as the Regional Lead for ultrasound training and is recognised as an MTI (Medical Training Initiative) champion, reflecting her commitment to medical education. Her dedication to teaching was recently acknowledged through a national nomination for Trainer of the Year, attributed to her caring and supportive approach towards her trainees.Fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, Dr. Saqib’s compassionate approach extends to patients from diverse backgrounds. An advocate for lifelong learning, she is currently pursuing a management diploma from the University of Huddersfield.
