Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Professor Hasib Ahmed is a Consultant Gynaecologist with special expertise in managing disorders of menopause including bespoke BHRT and severe endometriosis. He is a fully accredited colposcopist and maintains surgical competency in the management of all aspects of benign gynaecology including uterovaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence. He treats patients with a wide range of gynaecological complaints including menstrual problems, fibroids, laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopic surgery, pelvic pain, endometriosis, colposcopy, utero-vaginal prolapse and menopause.Professor Ahmed obtained his medical degree from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (now Imperial Medical Schools), with the majority of his specialist training being undertaken at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London.Professor Ahmed has also conducted extensive research in menopause, methods of hysterectomy and have developed special expertise in laparoscopic/hysteroscopic gynaecological surgery.
