Born in Switzerland and brought up in England. Educated at Eaton House, Port Regis, Bryanston and St Thomas' Hospital Medical School. Qualified in 1979. Dual Post Graduate degrees in general surgery (FRCS London) and Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRCOG). Sub-specialised in 'key-hole' surgery. Member of the Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells Cancer MDT.
