About Mr

Mr Timothy Hillard is a Consultant Gynaecologist working at University Hospitals Dorset Foundation Trust in Poole and practices privately at the Bournemouth Nuffield Hospital and the BMI Harbour Hospital Poole. He qualified in Medicine in 1982 from the University of Southampton. He completed his specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology training at King's College London, before being appointed as Consultant Gynaecologist in Poole in 1994. He was awarded his fellowship from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1999. He is a past Chairman of the British Menopause Society, is currently a board member of the International Menopause Society and associate editor of the International Menopause Journal, Climacteric. He is a keen teacher and educator and regularly examines for the RCOG and Southampton Medical School. Mr Hillard is an accredited menopause specialist and urogynaecologist. He provides consultations and appropriate tests and surgery for pelvic floor problems such as prolpase and incontinence and for most many common gynaecology problems such as menstrual problems, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids and pelvic pain.
