Anjali Kothari is a consultant gynaecologist at Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She has extensive experience in the management of varied gynaecological and obstetric problems. She undertook postgraduate training in Northwest London having completed the special skills training and modules in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, gynaecological and early pregnancy scanning and colposcopy. She has also subsequently trained and developed skills in robotic gynaecological surgery. She is the lead for the Emergency Gynaecology & Early Pregnancy Service and Colposcopy service at Hillingdon Hospital and is also the RCOG Preceptor for training in Acute Gynaecology and early pregnancy module, minimal access surgery and colposcopy.She is an experienced surgeon performing complex laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic and open surgical procedures including laparoscopic hysterectomies and robotically assisted procedures. Her clinical practice includes the management of emergency gynaecological presentations, early pregnancy complications, and general gynaecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, menopause and HRT and pelvic organ prolapse. She is interested in clinical research and has presented at national and international meetings.
