Dr Sameena Muzaffar is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with advanced clinical training in urogynaecology and vaginal surgery. She obtained her MBBS degree from Kashmir University in 2003 and later completed an MSc in Quality and Safety in Healthcare at Imperial College London, graduating with distinction. She is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), London.Dr Muzaffar completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the Wessex Deanery, followed by advanced training in urogynaecology and vaginal surgical procedures. She is currently practicing at Sarum Road Hospital, Winchester.Her clinical practice includes the treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infections, cystitis, and other bladder disorders. She also provides comprehensive gynaecological care, including one-stop services for post-menopausal bleeding, endometrial ablation for heavy menstrual bleeding, and surgical management of dyspareunia related to childbirth trauma and lichen sclerosus. Additional areas of practice include endometriosis, pelvic pain, and menstrual disorders.Dr Muzaffar serves as the lead for the perineal clinic at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Winchester and Basingstoke. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Muzaffar is actively involved in research and audit, with publications and presentations at national and international meetings.
