Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Dr. Mohamed Mabrouk is a Consultant Gynaecologist with special interests in endometriosis, advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, and menstrual disorders. He is a consultant gynaecologist and endometriosis surgeon at University College London Hospitals (UCLH). Previously, he was the Co-director of the Cambridge Endometriosis and Endoscopic Surgery Unit (CEES-U) at Cambridge University Hospitals Foundation Trust, Addenbrooke's Hospital. Recently, Mr. Mabrouk was appointed Adjunct Professor at The Southern University of Denmark, specialising in endometriosis and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is a European Board-Certified Gynaecologist and is internationally recognised as an expert in the field of endometriosis and advanced minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. As a world-class surgeon, he performs high-level endoscopic surgeries for endometriosis and benign gynaecological diseases and offers expert ultrasound diagnosis and management of these conditions. Over the last 15 years, he has worked in two of the busiest Endometriosis Centres in Europe, treating hundreds of patients with endometriosis, fibroids, and benign gynaecological conditions. Mr. Mabrouk is dedicated to improving the quality of life and fertility of women with endometriosis. His contributions to the field have earned him two International awards in Endometriosis and Female Health Awareness in 2008 in the USA. With an extensive academic background, he has numerous publications in International Scientific Journals and is an esteemed educator, teaching laparoscopic complex endometriosis surgery in the UK, Europe, and internationally. He is also a regular speaker at national and international conferences, where he shares his extensive knowledge. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, Mr. Mabrouk currently serves as the President of the European Endometriosis League (EEL), further solidifying his leadership in the field.
