Ms. Kaushik qualified as a doctor in 1997. She obtained her postgraduate training in London and the South East of England
including St. George's Hospital and The East Kent Gynaecological Cancer Centre. She obtained her formal sub-specialist training in Gynaecological Oncology at Cheltenham General Hospital and was appointed as a Consultant at Brighton & Sussex University Hospital in 2013.
Ms. Kaushik holds dual certification awarded by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RCOG) as a specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and sub-specialist in Gynaecological Oncology. She is one of the 150 other specialists in the UK
who are formally accredited by the RCOG to undertake complex gynaecological cancer surgery. In addition
she is an accredited Colposcopist
a specialist who investigates abnormal cervical smears and manages pre-cancer changes
