Dr Nahed Shaltoot is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at The Highfield Hospital, bringing a wealth of experience to her role. She began her career in the UK after earning her Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). She then completed a structured training program in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery by the RCOG in London.Dr Shaltoot has built a distinguished career both in the UK and internationally, known for her dedication to delivering exceptional care. Her specialisations include benign laparoscopic and open gynaecological surgery. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate Degree from the University of East Anglia, which focused on minimal invasive and robotic surgery techniques.In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Shaltoot is a prominent international speaker and chairs various courses nationally and internationally. She is deeply committed to education and training, leading the annual basic practical skills course for the RCOG in London. Her roles also include serving as a certified Medical Student Examiner and Clinical Governance Officer.Dr Shaltoot provides consultations and treatments for a wide range of conditions, including cervical screening (smear tests), colposcopy, endometrial ablation, hysteroscopy, labiaplasty (labial reduction), and laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis. She also addresses menopause management, menorrhagia (heavy periods), myomectomy (fibroid treatment), prolapse repair, total laparoscopic hysterectomy (womb removal), vaginal hysterectomy (womb removal surgery), and vulval disease.
