Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Mr Zeiad El-Gizawy is a Consultant Gynaecologist at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, and practising privately at The Harborne Hospital, Nuffield Health North Staffordshire and Rowley Hall Hospital. He offers an array of services to women suffering from gynaecological disorders, providing in-depth consultation and assessment, and works collaboratively with his clients to form a holistic approach to treatment. He has a special interest in managing pelvic pain and endometriosis and has vast training and expertise on minimally invasive surgical techniques, especially robotic surgery. Mr El-Gizawy is also experienced in infertility surgery and reproductive medicine. His main focus is robotic gynaecological surgery, where he offers robotic surgery for deep infiltrating endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian pathology. He began his career with a Bachelor Degree of Medicine and Surgery before completing his training in his chosen field in the West Midlands Deanery. He completed further training in advanced laparoscopic surgery with a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from Surrey University. He also received training in Robotic Surgery through training courses in Strasbourg and Paris. He is heavily involved in medical education and has been awarded a Diploma in Medical Education from Keele University. He holds teaching sessions for GP's. He has published numerous accredited journals and research papers. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is affiliated with the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling.
