Mr Mahesh Perera is a Consultant Gynaecologist, who has been working at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and Stobhill General Hospital since 2003.Mr Perera qualified in Medicine from Edinburgh University in 1992. He trained in Edinburgh before moving to Glasgow for specialist Gynaecology training. Following this, he worked as a Wellbeing Research Fellow between 1996 and 1998, with a focus on hormone replacement therapy in Diabetes. He went to present his research and publish extensively during this time. He then moved to Wales, where he completed more training in urogynaecology at surgical units in Swansea and Cardiff.
