Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Dr Veenu Tyagi is an experienced gynaecologist with a subspecialist interest in Urogynaecology. She has extensive expertise in treating pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence. She graduated in 1999 from India, completing her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before moving to Scotland in 2005. Dr Tyagi further improved her skills through subspecialty training in Urogynaecology, gaining dual accreditation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Urogynaecology in 2016.Currently, she serves as a Consultant Urogynaecologist at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where she provides secondary and tertiary-level services to women in the West of Scotland. She is also the clinical lead for Urogynaecology in Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Dr Tyagi is dedicated to teaching, regularly running regional and national courses, and is an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Glasgow. She is deeply involved in research on pelvic floor issues and is widely published.Her areas of expertise include the management of conditions such as stress urinary incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, interstitial cystitis, and bladder pain syndrome.
