Mr Chukwudozie Andrew Muotune is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience across all aspects of the specialty. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Medical Science at University of St Andrews in 1988 before graduating in medicine from University of Manchester Medical School in 1991. His postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology was undertaken in hospitals across the North West of England, providing comprehensive exposure to both obstetric and gynaecological practice. In 2004, Mr Muotune was appointed as a Consultant at Royal Bolton Hospital, where he continues to practise. Mr Muotune’s clinical interests include general gynaecology, laparoscopic surgery, and office gynaecology. He has developed extensive experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using minimally invasive techniques. Within obstetrics, he is one of the Clinical Leads for high-risk pregnancy care at Royal Bolton Hospital, managing women with complex medical and obstetric conditions. He also has established expertise in fetal medicine and regularly undertakes detailed fetal ultrasound examinations and diagnostic procedures for patients from Bolton and across Greater Manchester. Alongside his clinical work, Mr Muotune has a strong commitment to medical education. He serves as Undergraduate Tutor at Royal Bolton Hospital and is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Manchester Medical School. He is actively involved in teaching and examining undergraduate and postgraduate trainees, midwives, and allied healthcare professionals.
