Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Mr El Daief is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust. He trained in the Mersey Deanery and obtained his Membership to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2012. He is an empathetic and driven clinician and his main priority is putting his patients' best interests first. Mr El Daief has a primary special interest in Urogynaecology and vaginal surgery for managing women with pelvic floor disorders and urinary incontinence. This includes prolapse and pelvic floor reconstructive or perineal damage surgery as well as Intramural Urethral Bulking for stress urinary incontinence. Other interests include different bladder problems such as overactive bladder, bladder pain, cystitis or recurrent infections. Mr El Daief works at the Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital on Monday mornings as well as Spire Parkway Hospital on Friday mornings. However, he can be very flexible to consult at other times if required. Areas of interest Gynaecology; Key Hole; Laparoscopy, Sexual Health; Urodynamics; Urogynaecology, Women's Health Other Clinical expertise: •Cystoscopy (endoscopic examination of the bladder), bladder biopsies, bladder injection of Botulinum toxin for bladder overactivity and Bulkamid (intramural urethral bulking) for stress urinary incontinence. •Hysteroscopy (endoscopic examination of the womb) including biopsy, dilatation, curettage and removal of polyps +/- Mirena IUS insertion •Menstrual disorders, Hysterectomies •Laparoscopic or minimal access surgery for Endometriosis, Ovarian cyst removal, Female sterilisation, Ectopic pregnancy removal, Removal of Vaginal and vulval lesions
