Miss Seema Bagtharia is an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist who has a special interest in benign gynaecology which includes the diagnosis and management of conditions such as chronic pelvic pain, heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia), endometriosis, prolapse, recurrent miscarriage and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Miss Bagtharia also carries out minimal access (keyhole) surgeries and hysterectomies  as well as early pregnancy and gynaecological ultrasound scanning. After achieving her undergraduate medical qualification in India, Miss Bagtharia continued her postgraduate training in North East Thames hospitals. Whilst training, she completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Fertility to compliment her clinical work. She has been working in a consultant post for over 11 years and takes an active role in training future doctors. In addition to taking a particular interest in fertility, she works with patients who are experiencing dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) and is able to provide the latest treatments for the condition. Due to her vast experience in general gynaecology, she can perform a range of treatments for women's health issues from IVF to hysterectomies.
