Miss Kavita Singh is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Gynaecological Oncologist, currently practising at Spire Parkway Hospital.Her medical education began in India, where she graduated with an MBBS from the University of New Delhi in 1987, followed by an MD from Delhi University in 1990. She continued her specialist training in England, achieving MRCOG in 1995 and FRCOG in 2011. Much of her early UK training was undertaken at The Royal Free Hospital, London, where she developed extensive experience in pelvic floor dysfunction and general gynaecology.Miss Singh later moved to Birmingham to sub-specialise in gynaecological oncology and has been a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at the Pan-Birmingham Gynaecological Cancer Centre since 2005. Her clinical practice focuses on complex pelvic surgery for advanced ovarian cancer and recurrent pelvic malignancies, as well as advanced laparoscopic procedures for cervical, uterine and early ovarian cancers. She has a particular interest in fertility-preserving surgery, notably trachelectomy for cervical cancer, and has refined and advanced surgical techniques from vaginal to abdominal and laparoscopic approaches.Alongside her clinical work, Miss Singh is actively involved in teaching and research, regularly instructing advanced laparoscopic surgery internationally and contributing to peer-reviewed medical literature.
