Miss Lamiese Ismail is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Nuffield Health The Manor Hospital Oxford, specialising in the management of menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, vulval problems, and the medical treatment of endometriosis in Oxford. Her expertise also extends to minimal access surgery, including keyhole procedures, hysteroscopy, and the diagnosis of gynaecological cancer.Miss Ismail graduated in 2000 with her medical degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa before relocating to the UK. Beginning her journey in obstetrics and gynaecology in London, she later pursued specialised training in Oxford, completing a comprehensive postgraduate program. It was during this time that Miss Ismail achieved membership with The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), followed by her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2014.A dedicated researcher, Miss Ismail has contributed significantly to her field, with numerous papers published in peer-reviewed journals. Committed to shaping the future of medicine, she has previously served as a college tutor with the RCOG, imparting her knowledge and expertise to junior doctors at the Women's Centre.
