Mr Christopher Lee is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a specialist interest in minimal access surgery, who works both in the NHS and privately. He has particular interests in teaching and training in all areas of benign gynaecology, in particular he is an expert in the treatment of endometriosis. Chris trained and qualified at Imperial College London and subsequently undertook his specialist training in London, with five years spent at King's College Hospital prior to taking up a consultant post. This included a two-year fellowship in gynaecological ultrasound. In 2007, he undertook a mini fellowship at the Gynaecology Centre for Endometriosis in Villach, Austria in order to obtain more in depth training in advanced surgical techniques for the laparoscopic excision of endometriosis. Chris is actively involved in the teaching and training of visiting surgeons from within the UK and abroad. He also regularly lectures on gynaecological surgical techniques and has published widely across the full scope of his practice. Christopher is an International Trainer at several surgical training facilities, where his work is focused on providing training to both aspiring and established minimal access surgeons in a broad spectrum of the most advanced laparoscopic techniques.
