About Dr.

Dr. Pallavi Latthe is a Consultant Urogynaecologist at the Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust, where she leads the urogynaecology and Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology services. She is the only accredited subspecialist in urogynaecology in Birmingham and provides high-quality services for a range of general gynaecological issues, including menstrual dysfunction, contraception, menopause, and pelvic pain. Dr. Latthe completed her clinical research fellowship at Birmingham Women’s Hospital and the University of Birmingham, where her MD thesis focused on chronic pelvic pain. She coordinated the Well-Being of Women-sponsored Laparoscopic Uterosacral Nerve Ablation, contributing to advancements in urogynaecological procedures. Having trained in both the UK and India, Dr. Latthe also undertook travelling fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida and in Nijmegen, Netherlands. She has published extensively, with over 80 scientific papers and two books to her name. Dr. Latthe regularly presents her research at national and international conferences and serves on several prestigious committees, including the BSUG and IUGA. She is the director of urogyanecology subspecialty training programme and is lead of paedatric gynaecology at the Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust
