Miss Jyoti Rachna is a Consultant Gynaecologist based at Rivers Hospital in Sawbridgeworth and at Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she holds her NHS consultant post. She offers both face-to-face and remote consultations and sees patients aged 16 and above.Her clinical expertise covers a wide range of general gynaecological concerns, including menstrual disorders, fibroids, pelvic pain, utero-vaginal prolapse, and endometriosis. She has a specialist interest in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery and regularly performs procedures such as hysteroscopy, Novasure endometrial ablation, Myosure polypectomy and myomectomy, laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy and oophorectomy, diagnostic laparoscopy, and adhesiolysis. She also undertakes abdominal and robot-assisted hysterectomies, with or without bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.Miss Rachna qualified in India in 1997 and moved to the UK in 2003. She completed her specialist training in the East of England Deanery and was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2014.She holds the Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH), and a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
