Dr. Samina Javaid is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Menopause Specialist based at Royal Derby Hospital. She graduated in 1994 and went on to complete Specialist Structured Training in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, achieving her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2006.With over 25 years of experience in women’s health, Dr. Javaid has treated a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including menstrual problems, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and premenstrual tension. She holds the British Menopause Society (BMS) Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care, allowing her to offer expert support to women navigating menopause, with a focus on personalised and compassionate care tailored to individual needs.Dr. Javaid is also an active member of the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum and the International Menopause Society, reflecting her ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of women’s health and advancing clinical practice in her field.
