Obstetrician & Gynaecologist
Miss Nandy is an experienced and qualified specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist based in London, with private practices in North London. She has over 16 years of experience, having gained skills in reputable centres across Ireland, London, Singapore, and India. She qualified in 2002 and has undertaken a clinical fellowship in reproductive medicine, after which she went on to develop and pursue particular interests in the field of gynaecological cancer diagnostics, leading to advanced certifications in cervical and vulval disease management and ambulatory gynaecology (outpatient procedures for diagnosis and treatment). Miss Nandy first joined the Whittington Hospital in North London as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2018, and was subsequently appointed at Guys and St. Thomas' Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 2021 as a Consultant Gynaecologist with a niche practice in gynaecological cancer diagnostics. She also consults in general gynaecology within the Enfield Community Gynaecology Service. Miss Nandy is an empathetic clinician and shares the concerns women have about their health, at all stages of their lives. Personal experience and global exposures lend to her understanding of the culturally pertinent issues present in women's health, and she is welcoming of patients of all backgrounds. She speaks English, Hindi/Urdu, and Bengali fluently, as well as some conversational French and Spanish. Miss Nandy is focused on delivering patient-centric care, and with excellent communication skills, she seeks to engage every patient with clarity and honesty about their health needs and required focus. Her approach is practical, but warm, and she encourages her patients to be invested in and well-informed about their health. Alongside her medical work, she is a busy mother of two children, and is passionate about fitness and food, and aspires to be a perennial mature student and polymath.
