Mr. Ahmed El Gohari is an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with a special focus on endometriosis and pelvic pain, as well as advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is the lead of The Endometriosis Centre at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and has previously led the Endometriosis Service at East Kent Hospitals.He has excellent experience in laparoscopic techniques, as Mr. El Gohari has completed advanced training at St Peter’s Hospital, one of the largest endometriosis centres in the UK.In addition to his work with endometriosis, Mr. El Gohari is highly skilled in hysteroscopic procedures, including the resection of uterine fibroids and polyps, which involves using a small camera to look inside the womb. He is also skilled in the management of conditions like ovarian cysts, fibroids, and polycystic ovary syndrome. He regularly contributes to national and international conferences, and his research has been published in leading journals. His approach to care combines expert surgical techniques with a compassionate, patient-centred philosophy, ensuring the best outcomes for women dealing with complex gynaecological issues.Mr. El Gohari also offers treatments for a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, pelvic surgery, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and various surgical interventions such as hysterectomy and ovarian cystectomy.
