Ms. Ravinder Kalkat is a general gynaecologist, with special interests in minimal access surgery. In addition she also specialises in the outpatient treatment of menstrual disorders, for which she treats many women.Ms. Kalkat began working at her post as Consultant at Good Hope Hospital - Sutton Coldfield after completing her higher surgical training in obstetrics and gynaecology within West Midlands Deanery. She is accredited by the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical pathology to perform colposcopy for both investigative and treatment procedures.Ms. Kalkat has completed a module from the University of Warwick and developed expertise in the management of menopausal problems; further exapanding her scope of practice and expertise in this area.Ms. Kalkat is active in the field of research and has published several scientific papers. In addition to this, she has presented at national and international conferences. As well as her role in research, Ms. Kalkat as a passion for teaching and is actively involved in teaching and training medical students and higher surgical trainees. She is a senior clinical examiner at Birmingham University.In her spare time, Ms. Kalkat enjoys spending time with her husband and son who are both doctors.
