About Mr

Mr. Andreas Papadopoulos is a highly respected and experienced Consultant Gynaecologist, based at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in Kent. He is also an accomplished Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon for the Kent Oncology Centre, where he provides top-tier patient care. In addition to his work with the NHS, Mr. Papadopoulos also sees private patients at London Bridge Hospital and HCA UK's The Shard location - further extending his reach to provide world-class gynaecological care. In Kent he sees patients privately at KIMS Hospital (Kent Institute of Medicine and Surgery, Maidstone), The Nufield Health and Spire Hospitals both in Tunbridge Wells. He can also see patients at the private Sevenoaks Medical Centre. After being trained at the London Teaching Hospitals, he decided to further his research and subspecialty training at St Thomas' Hospital. After receiving a scholarship with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), he was then able to attend MD Anderson Hospital in Houston Texas and Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, India. Mr Papadopoulos is interested in all aspects of gynaecology, including preventative measures such as HPV vaccines, as well laparoscopic surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological cancers. He also specialises in abnormal smears, colposcopy, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts and pelvic pain. He is a member of several professional organisations, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, British Gynaecological Cancer Society and European Society of Gynaecological Oncology.
