Dr Vendola has been a consultant at the London Ultrasound Centre since 2015 and a fertility specialist at the LWC from 2017. She received her medical degree and specialisation at the University of Rome La Sapienza, practicing as a full-time resident from 2007. She worked as consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Rome first as a resident, then as fellow, and ultimately as consultant in the fetal medicine department from 2010 to 2015. She has got a PhD in prenatal diagnosis from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and worked as a research fellow at the Tomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, USA. She has also contributed her articles to various journals.
