Ms. Monalisa Neogi offers a comprehensive range of gynaecological treatments at Goring Hall Hospital, conveniently located in Goring-by-Sea, West Sussex, serving patients from Worthing, Brighton, Chichester, and surrounding areas. She specialises in the diagnosis and management of menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and early pregnancy complications. Ms. Neogi is highly skilled in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, ensuring faster recovery times and reduced post-operative discomfort. She also provides expert care in gynaecological cancer diagnostics, and preterm birth prevention, offering women a tailored approach to their reproductive health needs. With her patient-focused and compassionate approach, Ms. Neogi is dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalised care to women across West Sussex. Ms. Neogi began her medical journey in India, earning her medical degree in 2011 with distinction, receiving a gold medal in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Paediatric Medicine. She pursued postgraduate training, obtaining her Master of Surgery (MS) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2014, followed by the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) qualification in 2015. After relocating to the UK, Ms. Neogi undertook specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, further refining her expertise in advanced medical and surgical techniques. She became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2017. In 2023, she achieved Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR), marking her as a recognized specialist in the field. As part of her advanced training, Ms. Neogi completed Advanced Training Skills Modules (ATSM) in Benign Abdominal Surgery (open and laparoscopic) and Advanced Labour Ward Practice, equipping her with the expertise to handle complex surgical cases and high-risk pregnancies with precision and care. In 2023, Ms. Neogi was appointed as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Worthing Hospital (University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust). She leads the Emergency Gynaecology service, ensuring timely and effective management of acute gynaecological conditions. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in Preterm Birth Prevention, working to improve maternal and neonatal outcomes for high-risk pregnancies.
