About Ms

Ms Annie Hawkins is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Associate at Hormone Health with over three decades of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. She has worked as an NHS Consultant across London, Hampshire and Wiltshire and currently works in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology in WIltshire.  She has collaborated with Mr Nick Panay since 1997.  Her clinical expertise spans menopause care, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), fertility, early pregnancy, and psychosexual medicine. Known for her compassionate and holistic approach, she is committed to supporting women through all stages of hormonal and reproductive health.  Ms Hawkins initially trained in medicinal chemistry (drug action) before studying medicine at the University of London. Her postgraduate training took place across the North West Thames region, with a base at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. In addition to her medical qualifications, she is a Member of the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine and brings a deep understanding of the psychological aspects of gynaecological care to her practice. She also has specialist training in forensic gynaecology, early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology care. She is a previous Member of the Medical Advisory Council of the British Menopause Society and has been a Trustee of the National Association for Pre-menstrual Syndrome since 2000. Passionate about education and advocacy, she speaks nationally and internationally on women's health and has served on the executive committees of four women’s health charities. Her work is driven by a commitment to improving care for women and combining clinical knowledge with empathic, patient-centred support.
