About Ms

Dr Srividhya Sankaran is an experienced obstetrician and subspecialist in maternal-fetal medicine. Sri was the joint head of obstetrics at Guy's and St Thomas' and has worked as a consultant there since 2011. She holds leadership positions in regional and national committees.  Sri has more than 20 years' experience working in reputed and busy maternity hospitals, initially in India and then in London. She works closely with a multidisciplinary team including midwives, sonographers, adult and paediatric medical and surgical specialists to provide comprehensive care in pregnancies complicated by complex fetal and maternal medical conditions needing additional input into antenatal care. Sri manages all emergency situations with compassion, confidence and calm, resulting in the best outcome with safety and positive experience for parents.  Sri leads on fetal urinary tract services and jointly led specialist antenatal clinics for women with auto-immune conditions such as lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome.
