Ms Kamakshi Karri is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist, practising at Spire Little Aston Hospital. She graduated with her MB BS from Osmania Medical College in 1991 and subsequently obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). Since qualifying, she has developed broad and in-depth expertise across all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.Following comprehensive specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ms Karri undertook further advanced training in Colposcopy and General Gynaecology. She is currently the Lead Colposcopist and Head of Antenatal Diabetes Services at Walsall Manor Hospital, roles that reflect both her clinical expertise and leadership within the specialty.Ms Karri has contributed to the academic field through several publications in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in medical education. She enjoys teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees and regularly presents her work at national and international conferences.Her clinical interests lie primarily in general gynaecology, including heavy and abnormal menstrual bleeding, postcoital and postmenopausal bleeding, menopause-related concerns, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and wider reproductive health issues. As an accredited colposcopist, she provides expert assessment and treatment for abnormal cervical smears and precancerous cervical conditions, delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care.
