Dr Suneetha Rachaneni is a consultant gynaecologist and an accredited subspecialist in Urogynaecology, bringing over two decades of experience to her field. After earning her medical degree from the University of Health Sciences in India, she undertook specialist training in the Southwest Peninsula and West Midlands regions of the UK. Currently, she serves as the clinical lead for Urogynaecology at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust and chairs the Regional North Midlands Urogynaecology MDT.Dr Rachaneni specialises in the assessment and treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, offering advanced procedures such as Bulkamid injections, colposuspensions, Botox treatments, and sacrospinous ligament fixation. She is also highly skilled in general gynaecology, managing conditions like heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and ovarian cysts with treatments including diagnostic laparoscopies and abdominal hysterectomies.Her expertise has been internationally recognised, winning her the prestigious International Urogynaecology Observership Grant, during which she was a Visiting Scholar at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. She is particularly interested in urinary incontinence, neurourology, and prolapse, continually striving to improve care for her patients.
