Miss Madhu Kolli is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist renowned for her expertise and compassionate care. She currently serves at the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, conducting clinics and surgeries at Royal Gwent Hospital and Grange University Hospital.She graduated in 2000 from the esteemed NTR University of Health Sciences in Andhra Pradesh, India. Miss Kolli obtained a postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before relocating to the UK in 2004. Subsequently, she completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the Wales Deanery, honing her skills in various facets of women's health.Miss Kolli then pursued advanced training in Benign Abdominal Surgery, encompassing both open and laparoscopic approaches, as well as specialisation in early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate certificate in Gynaecological Ultrasound from Cardiff University.With a focus on providing patient-centric care, Miss Kolli's areas of special interest include managing heavy periods, menstrual bleeding problems, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain. She excels in surgical interventions, employing minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques, as well as complex open abdominal surgeries and hysteroscopic procedures.A dedicated educator, Miss Kolli finds fulfilment in teaching medical students and junior doctors. As an educational supervisor for specialist trainees in Wales, she imparts her knowledge in various areas, including transvaginal ultrasound, abdominal and minimally invasive surgery, and emergency gynaecology. Moreover, her contributions extend globally, as she held an adjunct academic status as a Senior Lecturer at Flinders University, Australia.
