Dr. Diane Nzelu is a Consultant in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, holding the role of Obstetric Lead for the North Central London Maternal Medicine network at UCLH (University College London Hospitals). Her professional expertise lies in managing complex pregnancies while focusing on delivering individualised and client-centred care. She is an expert in pre-natal care and is an asset to the team at London Pregnancy Clinic for this reason. With specialised training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Dr. Nzelu completed her advanced training module in labour ward management at UCLH. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Medical Microbiology at Edinburgh University, and completed her MBChB at Warwick University. Dr. Nzelu underwent training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the South London Deanery. During this period, she also successfully completed her MD thesis at King's College Hospital. Dr. Nzelu continues to be actively involved in research; her primary research interests revolve around hypertensive conditions (high blood pressure) during pregnancy. She has authored over 15 publications and two book chapters in this area. Additionally, she holds an honorary senior lecturer position at KCL (King's College London). Dr. Nzelu offers a range of services, including preconceptual counselling, NIPT, anomaly scans, uterine artery Doppler screening, cervical length assessment, growth scans, placental localisation, and antenatal education alongside obstetric consultations.
