Mr Owen Mortimer Heath is a Gynaecological Surgeon with expertise in robotic and laparoscopic oncological surgery. His clinical interests include pelvic exenterative surgery and ultra-radical gynaecological cancer surgery. He is also a British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) accredited colposcopist. Mr Heath qualified in medicine from Guy's, King's, and St. Thomas' Hospital Medical School. He undertook his postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London. He completed sub-specialty training in Gynaecological Oncology at The Royal Marsden Hospital with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). Mr Heath was awarded a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Fellowship to pursue a PhD to study the tumour microenvironment of ovarian cancer. He remains engaged in translational and clinical research.
