Ms Ritu Rana is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 22 years of experience. She currently sees patients at Darent Valley Hospital and Queen Mary Hospital, as well as private patients at BMI The Sloane Hospital and Chelsfield Park Hospital.Ms Rana completed her medical degree at Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University of Agra, India in 1996 followed by her basic training in obstetrics and gynaecology from premier institutes in India. She later relocated to the UK and completed her specialist training rotation in the East of England Deanery, followed by her RCOG/BSGE laparoscopic fellowship in France. Ms Rana is a Benign Laparoscopic Surgeon accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), as well as an Infertility Management and Pelvic Ultrasound practitioner accredited by the British Fertility Society (BFS) and an accredited Colposcopist.Ms Rana has special interests in fertility, early pregnancy, PCOS, recurrent miscarriages, benign gynaecology, PMS, menopause problems, gynaecology scanning, and colposcopy. She offers laparoscopic and hysteroscopic treatment for fertility optimisation, endometriosis and pelvic pain. She offers various treatments for heavy periods including Novasure endometrial ablation, laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery for treatment of ovarian cysts, fibroids and pelvic pain including hysteroscopy and hysterectomy and opensurgeries based on individual cases.Ms Rana believes in a holistic and individualised approach to patient care, enabling women to make informed decisions about their care.
