About Dr

Dr Gail Busby qualified at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad in 1996. She then completed her training in Manchester and the Northwest Region and qualified as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2002. Dr Busby's specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology included training in Ultrasound Scanning, Minimal Access Surgery, and Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology. She trained in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology in Liverpool and London. Dr Busby is a Gynaecology consultant at St Mary's Hospital in Manchester where she leads the Emergency Gynaecology Service and Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology. She takes referrals for Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology from across the North West region.Dr Busby is a national committee member of the British Society of Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology. She has an interest in teaching and training and is on the Education Board in St. Mary's Hospital.
