Mr Stelios Myriknas with over 18 years of experience as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing safe, personalised, and compassionate care throughout pregnancy and childbirth. He graduated with honours from St George’s, University of London in 2007, before completing specialist training at the Oxford Deanery and sub-specialty training at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Mr Myriknas is recognised for his gentle, patient-centred approach. He employs slow, controlled delivery techniques whether vaginal, instrumental, or caesarean with the aim to minimise trauma and support a quicker recovery. As the obstetric lead for foetal monitoring in his unit, he has developed particular expertise in closely assessing babies’ wellbeing during labour to ensure deliveries are safe and perfectly timed. He also has significant experience in helping women who have suffered pregnancy loss, offering reassurance and hope through advanced procedures such as cervical cerclage, which has enabled many mothers to achieve healthy pregnancies. Combining the latest evidence-based medicine with compassionate, individualised care, Mr Myriknas is committed to empowering women and their families through education and shared decision-making.
