Dr Maria Isabella Sereni is a Gynaecology and Obstetrics Consultant. She qualified in medicine and specialised in obstetrics and gynaecology from the University Hospital of Rome "Campus Bio-Medico". After graduation, Dr Sereni trained in the most prestigious hospitals in Rome. She also spent four years in the US (George Mason University, Manassas, VA) as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Applied Proteomics and Molecular Medicine (CAPMM) where she studied ovarian cancer proteomics and new therapeutic targets. Dr Sereni moved in the UK in 2015. She works as a Gynaecology and Obstetrics Consultant in London (Dottore London) and she is also an Honorary Research Fellow at Churchill Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust. Dr Sereni sees patients with a range of gynaecological conditions. She is an expert in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic tumours. Dr Sereni has a vast experience in 2D and 3D echography and colposcopy. She is also experienced in prenatal diagnosis and obstetric echography.Dr Sereni is actively involved in research and she is a member of numerous national and international medical societies.
