Miss Poonam Pradhan is a consultant gynaecologist is an experienced gynaecologist who graduated from Bombay University with her MB BS in 1993. She is a general gynaecologist with particular expertise in transvaginal scanning for the diagnosis of gynaecological issues such as cancer. She also conducts surgical procedures such as laparoscopy and hysterectomy. She treats the following conditions: Endometriosis Menorrhagia Pelvic pain Polycystic ovarian disease Menopause Ovarian cysts Bladder Problems Fibroids Since 2004, Miss Pradhan has worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals. She holds weekly rapid access clinics for the early detection of cancer as well as weekly rapid response gynaecology clinics. She also holds antenatal clinics and theatre sessions. In addition, Miss Pradhan consults at Spire Healthcare and the Midlands Ultrasound and Medical Services (MUMS) Clinic in Solihull. During her post at Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals, Miss Pradhan has been a guideline, infection control, and gynaecology lead. She is also a regional preceptor for gynaecology scanning teaching and is a trainer at the Regional TV Scan Course. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, listening to music and walking. She speaks Hindi and Urdu.
