Miss Watson got her training in London and the South East, and in 1994 she graduated while in 2006 she finished her specialist training. Since 2007 she has been a consultant gynaecologist at the Homerton Hospital.  She additionally undertook her advanced training in gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound, hysteroscopy andlaparoscopy.  She has expertise in outpatient hysteroscopy and the management of menstrual problems, ovarian cysts and fibroids.
